BTD- Shamate Keep

This has obviously been up but it deserves a thread.

What things does this box do? Let me tell you them...

1. It prevents you from ever having to worry about dishonored paragons being blank for their tech
2. It lets you run away unopposed to leave a defender
3. It lets you send shit home and gain honor in an environment where dishonor will rule supreme.
4. It's great when unbowed on defense

I will be playing it, along with the new and bitchin paragon tech. Trevor will be playing it too.

The trait alone is golden. The personality base will take some getting use to (for most) but paragon actions are pretty ridiculous.

I'd love to only run 10 paragons...

3x nish
ryozo, kobi, kenji, fumiyo

the other legit possibilities are:

Kusari (basically a 9g lion with a ryozo like ability, but not on a tac...)
furumaro (good but very expensive)
tashime xp (awesome, pretty expensive)
shunran (5f but blank, and non-unique)
the new guy (but BV's are generally awful...my life, courage, and temp truce are the exception, though the new one could be good if it tests well)

the other paragons are all silly

as far as actions I am thinking 11...3x force of spirit, 3x iron will, 3x paragons strength (I will use the lose honor option OFTEN), and 2x guided by honor

New guy gets the nod from me, if only to play 'my life is yours again'. I think he's got lots of potential.

Now that I think about it, I'm a little pissed this box doesn't have 8 family honor to start with. Would it to be too much to ask to go first against crane at least half the time? And if any box would have 8, it would be the paragon box. But I digress. That just may mean that it is much more likely that this SH makes it into EE.

Other than that, this SH is great. Again, you don't get the "crutch" that CC gives you by letting you cycle/draw cards freely, but for better pilots, actually having a relevant battle action in addition to lots of help against the (currently) strong dishonor win condition is a no brainer.
