Unique

Each of your cards that is a Courtier or Magistrate has +1F

Open:
Bow this card and target a face-down card in a province: You claim a
new tract of land. Turn it face-up. You may increase the province's
strength by 2.
****************************************************************************************************
Could find a slot if I decide to try out magistrate military. I love the fact of flipping up a card on your turn after this shows or an event resolves.

Pretty good. There are tons of solid regions for defensive honor going into the new arc.

Auto include in any scorpion dishonor deck for the remainder of the arc and into next arc? Free flip? Extra force for when you go military? Seems good to me.

IMHO the 2nd ability is leaps and bounds better than the first. Any deck running out of the new BK should also run this card. Being able to "see" what flipped after an event, region, or celestial is HUGE late game, for any clan and any win condition.

I see this sneaking its way into most top decks next arc.

I disagree. I think the trait is better then the ability. It allows us non-military clans to switch easier.

Only realistically against the mirror match or for honor vs dishonor. The extra one force on your 0f and 1f courtiers isn't really going to help you against military. And even then, it is only useful for courtier/magistrate decks. Next arc there will be many different breeds of honor/dishonor and control. This will do nothing for shugenja honor for example, of which there are already 3 previewed (Tamori, Asahina, and Kitsune), compared to the one political honor theme previewed (crane).

So, the trait is useful for a subset (political control) of a subset (control) and only good against control and enlightenment. Whereas the ability is literally useful for every single deck that runs events/celestials. As Daramere pointed out on the main forums, since it replaces itself, at it's WORST it lets you effectively run 39 cards dynasty side.
