An amazing card. Thankfully i won't ever have to sit across the table from it since no one plays non-cavalry unicorn tacticians.

Now I have to... I've been looking at non-cav tacticians for a while, I even played the deck. Might take the time to put it together with this beast. To be honest though, this guy automatically goes in every deck next arc imo, along with tairu.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind playing some infantry, just to be like "See I play all infantry, taste it..."
Now I want to see ming-li reprinted, and given an EXP version so I can play infantry with weapons

I feel like I am the only one who thinks that this guy is good but not great, if he said Lion Clan he would not make my naked deck or my weapons deck. At the same cost I compare him to Senzo, Raemon, and even Ayumu and I would take all three of them first.
Yeah I realize he will probably be better at the start of the next arc but we also don't know what reprints are coming.

I have to agree Evan. I felt the same way. Still though, he's a 3f boxable tactician with a printed bow. If you guys got that at 5g I think you would run him.
The only problem is that 3f tacticians usually need help to take provinces. Running this guy means that you have to either have some sort of attachment support, or be prepared to NEED two bodies to take a province if you see him early. And he's a boxable, so the ONLY time you want to see him is early.
Not bad of course, but wont see serious play til next arc methinks. Especially with all the boxable hate going around.

boxable hate? you mean claw and shell? 6 gold, crossing: 6 gold - so the two most common boxable killers don't affect purple cheapies
the cards that affect boxable are imperial census, endless stamina, province assaulted and on all sides- not average deck fixtures except for census (i could be wrong, i mean i haven't played in like months)

Re: FL-Shinjo Junpei
You guys all forgot about
"The Dark Angsty Fury of the Wrathful Dark Brooding Lord... of Darkness."
Extremely Limited: Pay 15 gold and destroy your rightmost province: Target (or don't) any number of personalities controlled by you and/or another player who have a gold cost (preferably base, but anything will do) of their owners stronghold plus 4 minus 2. Destroy any of the targeted cards that are personalities. If any of them are shadowlands, don't destroy them. Remove all shadowlands personalities destroyed this way from the game at the beginning of your opponents turn 3 turns from now. Immediately remove all personalities in play from the game. Remove your discard pile(s) from the game. If he was a personality, negate his next movement. You may not take any additional actions this turn.

burn the village is super euro tech, we don't speak of it here. but you're right, box hate prob will be in EE, considering the gold curve of these FL guys, i'm guessing AEG will print but frown on weenies (really weird they do that, here is a bunch of cheap/free guys, BUT WE DON'T WANT YOU TO PLAY THAT WAY! NO! BAD!). The point i was trying to make was that the current default boxable hate (claw in shell) doesn't hit corn.
