Re: New follower of the Forgotten Bay? Introduce yourself here!
Aaronious here. Complete N00B from Tampa area. I think I'm Scorpion or future-post-reset Spider (ninjas, anyway) but I might be Phoenix. (I think more like them. Or at least, I think I do...)
I accidentally discovered the RPG when a friend invited me to join his game. Then he said, "Since you have experience GMing..."
So far, I have almost no experience with the card game beypnd 3-4 losses with decks that are at best 1/2 mine, but I look forward to jumping in at the Dual-bug sets.

My name's Mike and I'm from Gainesville, FL. I mostly play Spider (monks to be more precise), but I might be switching to Unicorn with the new edition. Depends on what those death priests are like. xD

Hahaha.
In all seriousness, for those who don't know, Chris (Daramere) is the guy who organizes the "Strange Assembly" podcast. He's a very vocal voice of the community and well known/respected throughout. If you haven't listened to the Strange Assembly I strongly recommend you do, it's usually very entertaining! Trevor (Valentine) is also a regular on the podcast so it's always an interesting listen.

Former Unicorn player from Gainesville, FL here. It's been a while since I last played (around the end of Diamond Edition), and have been looking into picking it back up. Looks like there's a couple other locals here, maybe we can all get together some time and you guys can help me knock some rust off.

you picked a GREAT time to get back in, l5r been gathering steam over the last two Arcs, EE looks like a pretty good environment to play in and great for new players with the reset.

That's good to hear. I happened to find some CE cards for cheap so I thought I'd grab them and see how the game looked nowadays. Unfortunately, my friends don't seem to have much interest.
