Damn... Shadow Dragon... this is a nice and balanced card =( I hope this means we will see the Thunder Dragon soon and one will die choking on the other that it has killed and is eating.
The Heir's Wrath on the other hand is absolutely awesome! Nice limited un-negateble kill action. Two honor loss isn't bad either to kill off a key personality who is hrassing you from home.

Re: EoW Main Page Preveiws!
heh I'll play The Heir's Wrath just for the Spidery flavor of it.
The action is pretty good too, I guess.

Oh I love you Open Market. You allow me to pretend I am a spider Kensia, a poorer spider but still cheaper weapons! And make the spider even better.

Because Kensai was hurting in the current environment heh

Re: EoW Main Page Preveiws!
Reckless Duel, despite suggesting that the duel is foolhardy and will result in the duelist being maimed or dying, is a good duel. Send home and bow! I always like seeing duels that are not simply kills, as it tends to frustrate your opponent more then anything else. I am hoping we see more duels that are not lethal, but still are detrimental.
Re: EoW Main Page Preveiws!
So what you say is less lethal duels, more duel meta then ranged or melee meta, for an action that is the same as block supply lines....that works....

I have seen a number of Duels that weren't lethal but still really helped throw the game. I will look up some links sometime for you to see, you know when I am not running to work right away.
Anyhow, Moto Rani! I have not seen death priests at all this arc. I am hoping she gives them the shot in the arm they needed, but I suspect not so much since she is a single personality. =/ But I love her flavor text and how it relates to her Reaction.
Re: EoW Main Page Preveiws!
Oh Rani, I love you so. Quit trying to lure me away from the Spiders...

Re: EoW Main Page Preveiws!
Now that I can field a full deck of death priests I'll have this together once the set drops.
A couple additional spells should also help them out.

Inexorable amuses me. I could definitely see finding room for two-three of 'em, with damn near everyone packing some form of negation these days.

Except for all those decks that don't... I don't think its worth the deck space over playing good cards when you already have 1-4 cards that you are cycling with border keep XP. 1 of maybe... but 3 of? why...

Re: EoW Main Page Preveiws!
Three might be a bit much, but one or two I could see being helpful. Most of the games I lose seem to be against decks that pack negation of some kind. It would be nice to have the option to turn that off.

Depends what your deck runs... generic decks yes because you want what weak actions you have to pack punch... but for other decks that do shit like kill? Whoopy. Now, certain decks will hate you for this... Kensai, scorpion of any flavor that runs loyalty (all of them?) etc. I think its a useful card but I don't know if the so called "good decks" have room for it.

Re: EoW Main Page Preveiws!
generally a negation will remove your strongest action in the battle, most likely a kill targeting their best guy. So in effect this card has the same power as your strongest action IF your opponent runs negations. The most common negation off the top of my head: effortless, iron will, loyalty of scorp, zerker box, no no fear. I think redirects are much more common than straight negation, and this card doesn't not deal with those (if it did I would put 2 in every deck).

Zerker isn't a negation... it delays the effect I believe. Sucks hard for loyalty, effortless makes the effects not occur, not a negation (for example you can effortless an action that can't be negated because the "effects don't happen").
Exactly... Now for generic actions, like send-homes and bows, this becomes more useful than a kill as kill actions are usually redirected not outright negated (Except for kensai...).

Re: EoW Main Page Preveiws!
not every deck will have need of Inexorable... but a few decks will run it to great effect. This card is bonkers and will only get stronger as more negation comes along. Keep in mind that it doesn't stop the WHOLE reaction, just the "negation" part.
What this means is...
Iron Will: Your action goes through, but the costs are still refunded(!!) AND you still get an additional action.
Loyalty of the Scorpion: Your action still goes through, AND their other personality still dies.
Ninja Tricks: action goes through, but they still have to pay the cost and bow the Ninja.
