Cheers!!!
On saturday I went to my first ever Kotia with the Tampa crew. I just want to say thank you very much for an awesome experience.
I had great fun and i finished 4-3, it was also cool to see the guy that won the whole thing was running my deck and pretty much slobberknockered his opponent in 6 turns. So that was very encouraging to know that I the deck I was playing was a kotei competative deck less a few cards of course.
Thank you also to the guys that lent me your cards for the tournament i know i couldnt have won several games without them.
I know everyone is pooped out and exhausted from the event but I have to tell you if there was an event this saterday id be in.
Big thanks guys trully appreciate it.

Glad you had fun =) And did pretty well. I know my first kotei I went 4-3 and I had been playing a lot longer than you did.

Yeah man, I'm so angry... Sounds like someone is being defensive for someone else. I was poking fun at paul as well. A lot of us went 4-3, it happens, I enjoyed myself and my game against robin, that deck is a roller coaster ride.

Re: Cheers!!!
Glad you had fun, man! It was my second Kotei and I had a blast! Went 3-4, which was better than last year! I was also the only Phoenix Military, which I thought was kind of weird and awesome. Not having any event at Dark Side this weekend, give everyone time to rest, but planning on the 14th.
Also, Embers of War pre-release I'm planning for May 4th, but will have more details next week.

Any chance it could be on the 5th? Or do you guys already have stuff booked for Saturday?

Re: Cheers!!!
Yeah, that reminds me that the new Magic set is coming out around the same day, if not the same day. I'll need to check real quick, because if it is, then I might need to look at the 11th/12th.

Re: Cheers!!!
Okay, so the Magic stuff is happening 4/27-28, so the week prior to L5R. I don't mind scheduling on Saturdays. I know that if we have it on this particular Saturday, a couple of our locals will miss out due to other priorities/games. On the other hand, its really hard to set a date that is good for everybody, no matter what I will have a handful who can make it Friday night but not Saturday afternoon and vice versa. I'm more concerned about the travellers, though, so if it is more convenient for Tampa/Gainseville/etc. to have the event on Saturday afternoon, then I'll be more than happy to schedule it on the 5th. I'll make a separate thread for discussion on it to keep things organized.
