Fearful Volley
One of the best examples of the "keyword as a kicker" design philosophy. I like that you can field nominal scouts but still almost always have a great action on hand. And even with scouts on the board, it gives you OPTIONS. This is the kind of interaction I've been interested in. Not an action with "two amazing actions and you choose the one that's better" IE Creating Order or Entrenched Position... instead, this card will cause you to actually stop and think. There are large pluses and minuses to both sides of the action.
My only disappointment is that with a 1 focus value, it wont go into the samurai/dueling/scout/magistrate crane military deck that I've been dreaming up.

They have been doing a good job with the kickers, stuff like Way of the World or Recovering What Was Lost are good examples.
I'm just dissapointed that FEARFUL Valley is a scout card.
