Line in the Sand - Money
Ok, We have $111.06 from our selling so far for Line in the Sand.
We have two options I see:
1. We can buy it at Gencon (saving taxes and shipping and handling).
2. Try and get it cheaper later.
Either way we cut it, we may get some small surges here and there from selling cards on ebay (the foils form the most most recent set are not going to fetch us much money). If we are going to make money, we will need to sell Foiled TCS and LitS(when it comes out). The foils of older sets will be better trade fodder. As such, I think we will need to donate money to try and get more Line in the Sand. So, if we are going to do this, how much should be expected and who can donate?
Does this sound correct to everyone?

Re: Line in the Sand - Money
Ideally we would want a minimum of 3 boxes, which would probably require an investment of $20-40 per person, assuming that you guys don't win anything at gencon.
I think if you can get a good deal on the boxs at gencon you might as well pick them up, if not we can wait and see if we can get some deals online.
Either way it looks like everyone will need to pitch in for alits.

We will win what we win at Gencon, but as we won't know what we get until all the boxes are sold, they sell out well before Sunday arrives. I will take a look at cool stuff and see what they are going to sell at. Then I will know of Gencon is a good deal or not.
Re: Line in the Sand - Money
Considering the fact that aeg is selling the product at gencon, I would imagine it is going for full retail.
I don't think there is any need to rush for alits product. Its the off season so if we wait we can get it for a good price.

Re: Line in the Sand - Money
I guess I can start a collection for us, and figure out which is cheaper as I am there.
Re: Line in the Sand - Money
Well it looks like ebay exacts it's toll after a month. Our resources have dropped by about $44 due to them from their %. :/
That said, we have some extra product, and trades we have done. So let's go through this sooner then later and sell what we don't need sooner then later. Anthony, when would you like me to come over and we can start a sorting party?

Anthony has the card organizers. So as soon as he can support us being there we can get to work!
Re: Line in the Sand - Money
If patrick is okay with hosting then Ill bring the card sorter over. We can put a movie on and some seductive background music on while we sort.
