Post-ALITS Strict
When spider previews first came out I was sorely disappointed. Both monks and susumu continued the horrible trend of uninteresting and underpowered cards. But as the previews have gone on, they have shown a ton of support for Fear. I think spider might finally get to sit at the table with the big boys instead of being relegated to the corner. I'm actually e xcited to play the game for the first time since ivory base previews began. Once the ALITS previews are done I definately want to start playing again.

A few of us are toying with gencon still and I have put in for a Fall tournament with the request for it to be strict format. I am looking forward to playing a different deck type once ALitS is done being previewed.

Re: Post-ALITS Strict
We have corey and jason at gencon. We have a tournament on Nov 1st that is strict legal that I will be the TO of that we will need to prepare for. We will have product purchased at GenCon if it is cheaper then 99 a box plus shipping from cool stuff price. Assuming a one or two week recovery from Gencon we will resume practice sessions at the end of this month or early september. My recommendation is to get 1 or 2 deck builds going and we can proxy them up after we open our product from gencon/coolstuff.

Re: Post-ALITS Strict
No recovery time needed! Let's get down to business!
That said, we also have North Carolina that is happening. It is a drafting event, and will use Ivory, Line in the Sand and the new set. It will have the new set as well as prize support. I have committed myself to attending, to make sure they come down here.
Speaking of drafting, the Bradenton group (Saenz TC) will be draft training at Jason's place every other Thursday it seems. Chris S. and I will most likely start with that. Anyone else interested?
I am also most likely going to be going to Saint Louis as well.
