After the resolution of your tactical action: Give Kobi +1f.
Reaction:
After another player's Battle action resolves which destroyed one of
your Lion Clan Personalities at the current battlefield: During the next
End Phase, if the destroyed personality is dead, bring him into play,
ignoring costs and Honor Requirements.

Hmmm Same stats. Became cheaper. Eot Will vs I'll take that guy please (if it's a face up personality of course. She does gain the trait though and 3 honor makes sense when her previous was 2 honor

Re: BtD-Akodo Kobi
funny thing, we see all these crazy kill action negations or kill action screw-u-too-haha stuff. but, i don't really recall any kill actions being previewed with the exception of the one that says "kill a lion, gain 2 honor"

which incidentally prevents Kobi from being used since it sends the guy home first

I think you misunderstand, we're not "fighting" or whipping it out as it were
I think she's good just not fantastic. I also think CC is better than great halls, but he won a kotei with it so I won't begrudge him for disagreeing over a card game.

I will try my damnedest!
To be fair though, my "damnedest" is equivalent to "when I'm not too lazy or have nothing better to do."
Imagine though, a great war of Lion vs Lion. The followers of the central most castle in Lion lands band together to attempt to destroy the greatest record hall in Lion lands. An epic battle of evil vs evil, where the army that has the benefit of setting up their army first wins, even if the other army is hiding in fields of bamboo. Lion have no use for their bamboo fields. I'm not sure they could harvest them if they TRIED. This has been proven again and again by surprising armies of Crane showing up, standing on a hill, and shouting polite things at the Lion in their bamboo fields. This has caused the downfall of many more Lion than any internal struggle ever could. So rise up Lion! Rise up and step out from your bamboo shade. You need it not, and will surely lose the war if you hide behind it.
...
okay, I'm done.

XD I think our disagreement on the box is more for amusement at this point than anything else. I clearly missed the 'CC is amazing' memo, and people think I'm a loon for the Hall. I think she's amazing because as a player 'switch' is a concept I'm absolutely enamored with. The ability to switch gears and run towards another victory condition just works with my way of thinking. Toss that in with Paragon's having some pretty amazing cards, a box to die for, and so much untapped potential, and I'm eager to get to work.

I think people will find her much more impressive once they have actually played her. Either way her raw force is flat out amazing.
