Huh. I thought this one would make economic kills like "Dramatic Assassination" easier. Now combine that with the planned Spider Ninja theme, and you have a cheap economic kill action that does not lose honor. I dunno if there are other cards that combo with it as well as that, but...
You play it the same turn you use it, BTW - the combo-breaker is limited, also. Since thsi card is free...

Ah Tim, ever the Timmy.
Yes, it will make certain combos easier to accomplish. But the downside to it is that it does nothing to actually help you win a battle (so drawing it during a battle or when you have no other cards in your hand is really bad), and it is also VERY easy to get rid of. Discarding the imperial favor is essentially "no" cost for most clans. For most military decks, this card essentially reads "bow one of your personalities with 1 or more personal honor, destroy this card".
In your example, dramatic assassination would be cheaper by 2. But to accomplish this you had to use up an additional card in your hand. Cards are a vital resource that you are VERY limited in. You can only ever have 8 and you (usually) only draw one a turn. Now compare that to gold. You can have upwards of 15-20 available during later turns, and you get all 15-20 EVERY turn. Is saving 2 gold really worth it when gold is so easy to come by? By the same logic, if the rest of your deck is built to really take advantage of the -2 gold, then your opponent can also just simply spend 6 to get rid of the card. 6g DOES slow down your opponent quite a bit, but not enough to warrant wasting a card in hand.
This card reads well and effects things globally, so it really appeals to Timmy who like to experience things. He likes knowing that every other personality is cheaper (and if he gets multiple of these out he gets even more giddy). But Johnny doesn't like the card because it's too easy for your opponent to stop, and Spike doesn't like the card because it doesn't actually help him win.

This will probably end up being the worst card in the set.
