Rares for the Group...

As of late, Richard, Anthony and I have been talking about rares we need to invest in for the group as a whole. So, right now we are gathering a ton (16 or so) of Victory through Deference. 

Befor we go on a mass buying spree for the group, I think we should first determine if we will actually need so many of one type of a card. So please, everyone chime in, even if it is saying you won't use this card.

The Blessing: it's and event.

Most every deck I build has 1-3 blessings in it, most of the time 3.

I have 3 in my current iteration, just because it synergizes well with spider box, farms and famous bazaar. I do find that it has very little impact most games and when it flips I want it to be something else. Further play testing is needed on the card.

Let me point out that's its amazing in 3g military schemes like lion. The deck needs less holdings, both in construction and it needs to flip less holdings early, so it becomes a staple. In a 242 scheme blessing isn't worth the slot as you often can't afford to keep it in province turn 1 and end up mulliganing it away to try to get more holdings.

Another card we need more copies of is coastal lane.

Toshigokus blade. The card is just nuts good I'm running 3 in my latest kuni military deck

We should have plenty toshigoku's.

I'm definitely interested in Resumed Hostilities Victory Through Deference.

I think we should buy everyone 3 copies of vtd and have everyone split the cost once we have burned the communal money pool. Then we pray to god that it doesn't get banned.

2 more would give us 15 aka 5 playsets.

So it appears we need 5 more if everyone runs 3.

These will be easier and cheaper to get now. I say we just commit to 18, I'm sure that they will hold value and demand through the rest of ivory.
