Newbie question

Someone from another forum told me this is a good place to come too.

Basically from what ive gathered id like to either try Crane,crab or scorpion. Which is better for a new player? and is there any advice to be given. I know NOTHING about this but im trying to learn as much as possible to make the nice people at the local shop not have to work as hard to teach me.

Generally Crab is one of the best factions to start with as a new player. It is a brute force military faction that is very resilient.

The other 2 factions you listed tend to play control decks and have a much higher learning curve.

Whenever you come around we can show you some decks for each faction to give you a better idea of what faction you would like to go for.

Your from the anthem forum right?

Many of the people on this forum are Team Anthem.

Tuesday nights are usually L5R nights at Anthem, although players meet on other days from time to time.
(Also, the Tuesday after a Kotei is usally a bad time to look for them.)
Just check on Anthem's forums and ask if L5R is on for any given night, and you will quickly get a reply about what day to expect them to show up.
