Black & Brew

So i'm sitting here bored on Thanksgiving (foods not ready yet and im not into sports, everyone else is watching the the Lions game) and i thought i would mention that i have a new favorite beer. Sam Adams makes a cofee stout, obviously called Black & Brew. It is damn good. Check it out if you like beer or coffee (you don't even have to like coffee to like the beer).

I wonder if a Black and Tan made with Black and Brew would be any good. My favorite beer drink is a Black and Tan, although I resent the name's historical implications.

Ehhh generally black and tans are made with standard stouts with a brown ale... most of your flavor will be coming from the ale, the stout is there for the deeper undertones. Generally coffee/chocolate stouts are to be enjoyed for their flavors by themselves imo.

Hitachino Espresso Stout is pretty amazing stuff.

I'll have to check it out.
