Re: Paragon Tacticians
I love the actions selection, they seem as solid as they get. Personally I am not a fan of Rumors Travel, and I would swap them for Broken Alliance. It's been much more useful for me. Maybe some more aggressive actions (Unorthodox if you can support it) and a couple of Yojimbo's Duty would make it even more solid.

Yeah, I'm not sure if our play group is over compensating for our environment with rumors travel. I think we need more in person testing to determine it. I have considered broken alliance since it's an exceptionally solid card, sadly I traded away my unorthodox (other players wanted them badly) but I may see if I can borrow them and play with them in virtual testing. I like yojimbo's but I'm routinely questioning it's use. I would prefer to run a 3rd compassion and avoid the chance of effortless since everyone is playing it. Kind of like the EU meta with sneak vs reinforce. I think in general enough people are truly playing additional actions that you should just play the card, and because this is paragons and I give them anyways it's always a mid fuck. Worst case if they stop taking the actions I just cycle out of it or something.
The deck is an alternative purely for the card draw on the stronghold. That's it... it gives up it's auto-win vs dishonor which is already solid imo because of cavalry but I still feel uneasy about it due to lack of testing.

Fate card - search for a non-unique holding in your dynasty deck, put it into play paying all costs. Basically if you draw it, best gold start, every time.

Re: Paragon Tacticians
Indeed, Peace is an amazing card. I have to start thinking of finding slots in my decks as well. It allows dynasty search, which works much more than just 'Demonic Tutoring' a holding. It helps on reshuffling those personalities that went on the bottom after double BK.
As far as the suggestions given, I fully agree with Hideo's approach. Just to take a step further, try testing some games with Broken Alliance over Rumors. I was never sold on Beloved of the Clan, even when Honor runners needed meta to be faced in equal terms (OAS and Shameful&Cowardly was on every list).
Honor runners tend to have many send home actions to stop your attacks. It seems silly to throw away a card that allows you to come back in battle, just to reduce potential honor gains by 1 point. Moving into battles is much more useful than stopping Shrine honor in limited. If the card that allows you to move in is universally useful then I guess you should go for it. Broken Alliance is the best choice imho.

Yeah, its the promo for the feb sealed deck event. Technically people shouldn't actually have the cards yet, but its legal as of February.

Re: Paragon Tacticians
The reason it originally came out early was the Australian charity tournament...I believe it was given out as part of the prize support there which I completely understand. Don't quote me though I just think that's the first place it came up.

How does Reckless Rush work out for you? I've never been able to get it to do me any good, which may be a timing thing on my part.

Look at reckless rush as a simple bow action with lots of good qualities. First it negates future bow actions against that personality, second it can at best kill an attachment, at worst bow the weapon or a unprotected personality. Basically... if you don't have a kill action or another more effective card (sundering for example) use reckless rush.

Re: Paragon Tacticians
Reckless rush is amazing with big personalities with no battle actions, or after a personality plays its action. Sometimes it's bad, but sometimes it's very useful. I don't know how it plays out of the Unicorn list, but it has helped a lot in my Berserker list. Note the difference between the two lists' personalities.

ehh honestly, the battle maidens have very few good battle actions. For some reason they are the resilient list with the shugenja being the aggressive battle oriented list.

Re: Paragon Tacticians
Cool deck, not cool enough. I need dudes with battle abilities. Gonna build the shugenja next give it a try. This stronghold makes the deck unreliable, that automatically disqualifies it. If I do come back to it, it'll be pure paragons with the stronghold.
