I, hmmmm so ninja can get their non-ninja's into the deck? I don't think this card compares well at all to the other spirits.

Hmm... I like this card for the harpoon matchups... and the potential to run Paneki as a ninja/tactician is an interesting one. I come to my same usual problem with interesting ninja cards - I'm already so tight fate/dynasty both that its hard to get a good feel until I can proxy some up for playtest.

I think that this is just overkill on the movement side. Ninja's already have lots of movement abilities, the last thing that they needed was an unpredictable strategy that they could permanently give to one of their dudes. This card would have been so much better if it gave a poison token battle action (ranged 3 attack, +2 if the target has any poison tokens) or something similar, so that they could play it on Toson and everyone could stop complaining.

I don't know... sneak into a performed unpredictable strategy is pretty messed up for defensive honor decks that need their duelists in battle and their courtiers at home.

The Unpredictable without the Straighten is what I mainly like about it. Harpoon in can help with some of the harder matchups. Sneak pulling a bowed shugenja or courtier (or even straightened half the time) in does answer at least a few troubles.

I'd never complain about an RA, certainly, but right now I tentatively think I prefer this.

Shoot for that matter pull in a target enemy bowed unit... That'll teach you to defend you bastard!

Or you can use the "unpredictable" to trigger flawless assassin. Sneak w/ Toson use this ability move Toson to another personality holding province. Does it make it into CE? It could. Does it get play in EE? Absolutely

This is one of the better Spirit of's. I think it might even be playable this arc.

Yeah it's non-straightening harpoon or more movement shenanigans with Flawless Assassin- what's not to love?
