*sigh* The Scorpion Clan

Poor guys. You'd think that the clan that values loyalty over every other virtue would be able to agree better on clan-related things, such as the website that they use.

It baffles me that there are so many negative players that call that clan "home". I mean, every clan has a few... fanatical... fans that can be quite negative at times, but I don't see why nearly every card and every decision with them has to be such an uphill battle.

I'm just glad I don't have to put up with it on a daily basis. The Crab forum guys spend their days joking about a .

Not to say that every Scorpion player is like that, but it just seems like it would sap my desire to play this game if I had that much negativity on my boards all day. Thanks to everyone who posts here and makes it a much more pleasing forum-going experience than it definitely could be. Hats off to the Forgotten Bay!

I've got to admit... I used to play Scorpion and I still like playing Scorpion decks a lot. But going to the Scorpion Clan forums saps my will to interact with their player base in about 5 minutes flat.

I find it funny that there are naysayers for everything, I've even been the culprit of it lately (sorry guys ). On the unicorn clan forum we had a thread about how AEG hates them, either way I think you need to look at it as you would a game. You have multiple factions and AEG is constantly balancing those factions with its choices and power. Sometimes it issues small changes to the cards when they are abusively overpowered but for the most part the power scales kinda shift from set to set and you just kinda pick your clan and play along, bringing approximate balance.

For the record AEG does not hate any one clan. According to all the posts recently they hate all non-spider clans and more specifically all non-breeder players . L5R is moving in a great direction and I feel that emperor edition will bring a much more competitive environment for all clans.
