BtD Preview - Revenge
Revenge
Dark Virtue - Determination
Battle: Choose your performing
unbowed Samurai and target an enemy card without attachments. Bow it.
Destroy it if another player's action has destroyed one of your
personalities since the end of your last Battle action this battle.
The Spider fought alongside the rest of Rokugan, but some remembered past days.

Naked Lion could run this card along with other non-attachment decks so that it can reliably be a kill/destroy action. Otherwise its a bow action with a bonus.

Rich, i see you like that new monk art. it is pretty badass. makes me want to play spider monk just for that one art. I've been very impressed with the art in the new set so far.

You should be, a certain argyle is making sure all the art is "Premium". That said I love the art on this card, and it clearly shows that shinran is still around and using those stolen blades to his advantage.

That's what i thought originally too Pat, but i think the art for this set was decided on/completed before Argyle was made art director (Mar 1st). But it is definitely a great direction that Argyle will no doubt improve on
as for the card, likely a staple in military decks early arc. unless of course everyone runs heavy attachment or something. The funny thing is you can play the card against your opponent's copy of the card.

Funny enough I'm hoping my initial strongholds include the shugenja stronghold, but that's just me. Having spells attached puts this card in its grave except to destroy attachments.
