So... I'm actually VERY happy with my cards.  I definitely see a defensive honor deck in here with the Yojimbo going to battle to defend and the shugenja staying home (or also coming to battle if necessary... always an option).  The +1 str from the sensei really helps making us beefier (and makes us 8ps against a crane who goes first or Lion).

There's still like 15 holdings unpreviewed, so I'm still hesitant to start goldfishing the 3g box scheme with this deck.  But I think I can make it work.  I was right that all 3 Shiba previewed (Tsukimi not included obviously) were cheap.

Also wtf.

Ranged attack equal to your Yojimbo's force if you have a shugenja. Pretty. Fucking. Good. Especially since a lot of the spell support for the "at home" shugenja involves force pumps.

I FUCKING LIKE.

Interesting, slightly better than a ranged attack for things like turtle shell.

But slightly worse than a ranged attack for cards that impact fear effects.  So it's a wash.

Also, the yojimbo/shugenja part is all in the kicker. So for everyone else, the card reads "Bow your personality: Fear X where x is his force."

Crab, mantis, and lion will likely love this card. And monk kensai will probably run it to if they have enough straighten tech.

Hmmmm, are there any cards that impact fear effects?  Anthony was pondering that.

A quick look at the Oracle gives us Hida Kisada (a wash, cause he also lowers RA and MA), and Iweko Honor Guard (Completely Immune).

That's not including any of the previewed cards not in the oracle (all the clan specific/3rd party specific previews), and remember that fear just came back in ivory, so no cards from CoM, AM, or GoC have fear effect keywords.

True, I think the wording on it implies that it was written to possibly meet the needs should it be able to interact with something to bow more than 1 card, guess we'll just wait and see what else they print later on.

I like the previews, the theme is fleshing out really well.
