So this is a rough draft for the sort of Spider deck I think I want to run in 20F. I really want to throw it together and get some games in with it, mainly to see if I actually have something here or if I need to go back to the drawing board. Razz Obviously the game plan is to get a big, hopefully conquering unit going and murder bitches.

That's a lot of Really expensive attachments, they are going to clog up your hand pretty badly. I'd drop the Sohei, you won't have the gold to play them in battle after playing one of the other big followers.

I'm on the fense with karo, its action is quite good, but its so vulnerable to kill actions. I would run hidden reserves in that slot, its really good and your lacking movement anyways.

No straighten? Having your 11g follower bowed is going to hurt.

What is the purpose of Spinning the Web?

Have you goldfished your holding scheme? I'm not sure it can support such an expensive deck.

Have you considered enlistment?

Merciless assualt looks good for big follower decks.

needs coastal lane plus blessing or Nexus to help with consistency

# Holding (21)
1 Forgotten Legacy
3 Lonely Dojo
3 Nexus of Lies
3 Shinomen Marsh
3 Slave Pits
3 Coastal Lane
3 Famous Bazaar
2 Temple of Destiny

# Event (1)
Enlistment

Not sure how good Lonely Dojo is here due to 1 follower a turn for a lot of gold doesn't maximize the Dojo

Coastal lane is not a good card for spider. Why run a 445 with a drawback when you can run 243s? I do agree that nexus needs to go in.

Drop the temples then and swap the coastals for jade mines.

So far the gold scheme has been fine, though I haven't been impressed with Lonely Dojo. I could see cutting that for Nexus.

Fall Back! is straighten, but I could probably use more. I should probably find room for Relentless; maybe cut Karo if I don't like it (I don't know since I haven't gotten in any games yet).

Spinning the Web is mostly to re-use the sensei.

Enlistment helps my opponent, and I absolutely refuse to play cards that help my opponent.

This is also why I need to get in some actual games, so I can more easily weed out the bad stuff.

It helps you 100% of the time and your opponent 50% of the time.

Besides, few opponents will remember to draw off the enlistment.

50% is 50% too much, imo. There are six destined cards and Teruo in the deck so I'm not too concerned with card draw. Then again, playtesting may prove me wrong. Razz
