Play it like breeder get to the mid-game and then win battles. Harpoon in key personalities with Hunting along with killing in the open with Concentrated Fire. if not expecting a dishonor heavy meta sub the Oye Seido for Barley Farms or Fudo Scheme. Abuse Heartlands and farmlands as much as possible to get breeder like force through border ambush. I will post play-testing results soon along with matchup percentages if it proves successful. Advice welcomed!

Re: Crab Scout Swarm
was looking at playing scouts prior to Sarasota, from what i gather on crab forum, good vs control, mediocre vs other military, consistency is an issue. at its best it swarms, at its worst it plays like naked lion without tactician/good battle abilities.
I'm assuming Kyuden hida will resolve some of the consistency problems, by always giving u follower and recon, but right now i haven't seen a single scout deck crack top 8/16. Maybe needs more refinement, maybe needs a great pilot, neither of which i had time/skill for so I wish you the best of luck =)

Re: Crab Scout Swarm
Well after a very late night brainstorming session (rich and sleep were here till 3 am) this is what we came up with and I have it primarily built. Looking forward to testing it on Tuesday. You coming?

Re: Crab Scout Swarm
prob wont be able to make it for a couple weeks, won't be going to SC. I'm going to put together a crane dishonor deck for playtesting purposes, let me know if you guys need any cards or need cards back.
i can't wait for the reset, and i'm promising myself to stick to one clan this time around, less headache and more productivity with the time i have.

need your heartlands for sure, proper deference, unfamiliar ground, claw and shell, and Ultimate Sacrifice. Let us know when you can sneak out.

Yes, the 28th Pruto.
Anthony, how did this scout deck hold up?
Any changes you are thinking of making?

Re: Crab Scout Swarm
The Scout deck performed decently. I only played against Lion Tuesday but was able to get bodies on the table early and stole tempo with Concentrated Fire, Hunting the Daughter, and Settling the Homeless. Toritaka Horoiso and Heartlands were awesome in test-playing as the extra bodies were necessary. I'm pretty picky with the decks I play so I'm not sure yet if this is my SC deck or not. When Kyuden Hida xp comes out I can see this deck going up in power and being a more serious deck choice.

Re: Crab Scout Swarm
I think what's truly scary about the deck is that against the standard control decks concentrated fire and hunting are both very powerful for breaking the cycle.
