I actually was pretty impressed with how the dueling variant ran last night for you (although this is a pretty different list).  I like the idea of "splashing" the dueling for the 3 power duels, especially since they just outright nuke everything in the environment.  I also like COaaT in that deck because a key defensive battle will happen every game for you and it will be glorious.

That being said, and this is just personal opinion, I find that dueling with "super big units" tends to lead to me being very frustrated due to the RNG nature of it.  Now, granted, that's why they are so powerful, they are risky... but I'd much rather lose a 2/4 duelist to RNG than a 4/4 with an attached weapon.  I found myself just feeling really defeated when a duel blew up on my face.  The bow focused deck is pretty strong but with the prevalence of fall back, strategic withdrawal/advance warning, and creating order being in every deck, it's hard to make it stick.  

Looking at the two, I think the dueling deck is the better deck, and the deck I'd run if I wanted the best chance of doing well (it has the side effect of being pretty good against dragon dueling and honor dueling if we see it by virtue of it's fv's) between the two.  But I know if it were me, I'd actually play the non-dueling one because I'd have more fun.  Take with that the grain of salt that what fun means to me is very different from you, the same for everyone in the group.  Go with what you think you'll enjoy the most.

The dueling deck has kokujin.  Obviously that's the deck you play.  It's got your clan champ.  AND THE EGG OF PAN'KU.  Shit rich, that's the deck you've always meant to have played.

Hm... i can drop Tairao for Susumu Takada, he has 4chi and can invest for honor against dishonor.
