So um... I took a stab at building a deck. How bad is it?

Ive found 18 holdings to be perfect. The holdings you choose all come down to personal preference as there are few must have holdings. 

I find 9-13 weapons to be a good range, depending on costs. Without kensai you will be hard pushed to get your weapons into play at a 15 count. I'd drop spiked tetsubo and dotanuki as they don't really help you in duels. Ivory is all about bully dueling. Consider tested blade, utaku's destiny or bo of ritual blessings.

3 spirited dispute is too many, it sits in your hand unplayable for a good chunk of most games. Having multiple copies in hand is usually very bad.

You need battle straigthen and actual movement. There is tons of bow and your oponnent will always have the favor.

You don't have weakness expossed. Its one of the 2 duels that makes it worth dueling( the other being coaat).

weapons will be the hard part. Bo, tested blade, and utakus destiny are rares and we do not have extras. Akodo Kaiken we should have. Everything else looks easy enough to put together.

According to Oracle, Tested Blade is a TCS common, but it's really good so I could see there not being enough. What about Awakened Naginatas or Stockpiled Weapons?
